| I qualified in Therapeutic Massage (2003), Sport and Remedial Massage (2005) and gained a BSc (Hons) Health Sciences: Therapeutic Bodywork at Westminster University with First Class Honours (2007). I am a member of Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM), Complementary Therapies Association (CThA) and registered member of NHS directory. I hold full professional insurance and have standard clearance from CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) to work in healthcare.
Treatment is focused on the application of soft tissue manipulation to accelerate healing and recovery from trauma or illness. My approach is to work in partnership with cleints to facilitate body awareness, identify tension patterns in the body that may lead to structural imbalances, repetitive strain or possible injury. The nature of treatment is grounded in structural integration applying a range of advanced soft-tissue techniques (eg Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy and Positional Release methods etc) to achieve a balance of structure to the body and working towards good health and well being. |
